It’s so wonderful to be back in my home town. My parents may not be here anymore and taking the south west trains “home” rather than south eastern feels a tad unnatural but this is and always will be my city.
This evening I went for dinner at Smollenskys and to see Jeeves and Wooster with two of the girls. Just being able to jump on a train and catch up with them is magic.
Cliché alert, but I never realised how much I loved/missed London until I went away and returned.
Now I get to go home to my sweet little flat and sleep (on the air bed still) but on the new, beautiful and fabulously assembled bed frame.
No channels usualchatter as we can’t re-tune the tv, which is (I’ve been told sternly) a necessity in order to watch it. One way ticket to the dog house for me.
I’m currently hovering by the communal front door of the flat stalking the post man I spotted from the window in case he has post for me which needs signing for (expecting TV remote in post which I didn’t pack with the TV so we cannot tune the channels) and we have no doorbell. Needless to say I look a bit weird.
This is ydays I feel cute selfie.
Right now I’m rocking nike leggings, pj vest, big pineapple hair and flip flops. Talk about McHottie.
It’s 7am, we’re on the Eurostar, and here is a gratuitous picture of me asleep at the tube stop feat. my beautiful best friend and travel buddy
Have the best timeeeee xxxx
